1. Introduction

Jake Fixes Tech LLC ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it and your rights regarding that information. This policy applies to all services provided by Jake Fixes Tech LLC and to visitors of jakefixestech.com.

By using our services or contacting us through our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services. This may include:

  • Contact information: Your name, phone number and email address
  • Device information: Make, model, serial number and description of the issue
  • Service credentials: Login credentials you voluntarily provide solely for repair purposes (see Section 4)
  • Payment information: Processed securely through third-party payment processors — we do not store full card numbers
  • Communications: Emails, text messages or contact form submissions you send to us
  • Website usage data: Basic, anonymized analytics data such as pages visited and general geographic region (see Section 6)

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government IDs or financial account numbers unless directly required for a specific service and explicitly agreed upon.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

  • To provide, complete and follow up on the requested repair or tech service
  • To communicate with you about your device, appointment, invoice or service status
  • To process payments for services rendered
  • To respond to questions, inquiries or support requests submitted through our website or by direct contact
  • To improve the quality of our services and website experience
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with any third party for advertising, marketing or commercial purposes — ever.

4. Device Credentials & Personal Data on Devices

Certain repairs require access to your device, which may include your operating system login, Apple ID, Google account or other credentials. We treat this information with strict confidentiality and the following practices apply without exception:

  • Credentials are used solely and exclusively to complete the requested repair
  • We do not store, write down, photograph, transmit or share your passwords or login information
  • We do not access, copy, transmit or review your personal files, photos, messages, emails or documents beyond what is strictly necessary to complete the repair
  • Credentials shared with us are never retained after the service is complete

We strongly recommend changing any passwords shared with us after your repair is complete. This is a best practice regardless of the repair provider.

5. How We Store & Protect Your Information

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. These measures include secure email communication, limited access to customer records and secure handling of payment information through third-party processors.

No method of data storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention: We retain your contact and service records for a period of up to 3 years from your most recent service or interaction, for business record-keeping and warranty purposes. After that period, records are deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your records at any time (see Section 8).

6. Website Analytics & Cookies

Our website may use basic analytics tools to collect anonymized data about how visitors interact with our site. This may include pages visited, time spent on pages, referring sources and general geographic region (city or state level — never precise location). This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information and is used solely to understand site performance and improve user experience.

Cookies: Our website may use minimal session cookies necessary for basic website functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or behavioral targeting cookies. You may configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time, though this may affect certain website features.

We do not use Google Ads, Facebook Pixel or any other third-party advertising tracking technology on our website.

7. Contact Form Submissions

When you submit a question or inquiry through our website contact form, we collect your name, email address and the contents of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Contact form submissions are not added to any marketing list and are not shared with third parties.

8. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services to operate our business, including payment processors and scheduling or communication tools. These services operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We share only the minimum information necessary with these services to complete the relevant transaction or service.

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect basic server-level data as part of their network operations. Jake Fixes Tech LLC does not control Cloudflare's data practices. You can review Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
